JOYCE CARPATI – 80 YEARS OLD:

“I still study singing and I do perform in musical concerts, I go to the theatre a lot and the museums. I have lots of friends and I travel a lot. I just never stop. I read. I think that’s why I want to be a part of the future. I am very active and I enjoy my family.”

“I enjoy myself so much I don’t even feel I’ve aged. In fact last night I was out at the opera until very late with my son.”

ILONA ROYCE SMITHKIN – 94 YEARS OLD:

“I greet every day as a gift because I don’t know from day to day when I will be called away and so each day is a lovely surprise and I try to take it as a gift and make the most of it.”

“I never celebrated my birthday and I never realised the years going by until I looked back at all the amazing things that have happened.”

LYNN DELL – 80 YEARS OLD:

“We are a world now, not just a country and we had all better get along. We should express ourselves and not be copy cats and respect all for the way that they want to live.”

“I have a wonderful, glamorous ladies’ boutique that I have had for 50 years on the upper east side called “Off Broadway”. I have had it for 50 years and I still love working today as much as I did when I first started. Doing business has changed a little bit in that time, but only a little bit. “

LINDA RODIN – 65 YEARS OLD:

“I am a fashion stylist and founder and owner of my own beauty line RODIN olio lusso.”

“For the future? Just staying healthy and travelling a bit to warm places to collect shells.”
